New emergency warning systems announced

Our climate is complex but now there’s a new simple warning system for natural disasters.
There are three warning levels that are the same for bushfires, storms, floods, cyclones and heatwaves.
These warning levels move up and down to reflect the risk to your life or property, before during and after a natural disaster.
Learning these three levels, and how to respond to them, could save your life.
In the coming weeks, flyers will be distributed to households, so please keep an eye out.
