Emily Wilson, Onslow: It is with great respect that we recognise Emily for her exceptional service to our community. Through her unwavering dedication, she has ensured the smooth and timely delivery of fresh produce to Onslow, bridging the gap between suppliers and families with care and efficiency. Her selfless contributions—managing orders, coordinating logistics, and keeping everything running smoothly—have enriched the lives of so many in our town. Emily’s tireless work exemplifies the true spirit of community and volunteerism. She is a great asset to the Onslow community.
Patrick Gray, Tom Price: His ongoing volunteer commitment to the Tom Price Bushfire Brigade. Serving the brigade as a lieutenant and his volunteer work within the local emergency service space!
Louise Fitzsimon, Pannawonica: Louise always goes above and beyond contributing her time to the Pannawonica community. This includes volunteering at the school uniform shop as well as supporting the sports club with gardening needs. She's a valuable community member and deserves the recognition for all her amazing work.
Jeff McCormack, Paraburdoo: Jeff organised indoor soccer for the community all on his own, not only running the sessions but actively sourcing donations and grants to make it happen and reestablish a committee. Jeff’s true community spirit is highly appreciated for his dedication and efforts.

What was once Volunteer of the Month has rebranded into Ashburton All Stars, a monthly initiative to recognise the people and groups going the extra mile in our Shire.
Do you know someone in your community who deserves recognition for their outstanding Good Samaritan efforts?
Whether it's a dedicated coach at the local sports club or someone who goes above and beyond with random acts of kindness, we want to hear about it.
Nominate your Ashburton All Star today to ensure those who make a positive impact in our community are properly celebrated. No deed is too small.
Some examples of an All Star could include;
- This community member stopped to help my child who had fallen off their bike on their way to school.
- This community member provided amazing customer service.
- This community member went above and beyond to assist with the planning and delivery of the annual tournament.
For more information about the kind of values we are celebrating, read our Strategic Community Plan 2022-2032 here.
To nominate someone for this month's Ashburton All Star, simply answer the questions below and provide the necessary details.
The winners will receive a $50 voucher as a token of appreciation for their contributions to our town and its people (this voucher must be collected within 30 days of being notified or will be voided).
Once the All Star has been selected, they will be featured in our monthly newsletter, Inside Ashburton, and highlighted on our social media platforms. Additionally, they will receive a certificate in recognition of their efforts.
The winners will be announced on the first Friday of each month.
