At the heart of this charter is our dedication to ensuring that every interaction with our external customers or stakeholders is marked by a high standard of service. Whether you're a resident seeking assistance or a business owner with enquiries, you can expect our staff to go above and beyond to meet your needs.
 
Our commitment to customer service includes:
• Prompt and courteous handling of phone calls.
• Active listening to understand customer concerns and needs.
• Response to messages and calls within one business day, at least for initial contact.
• Clear and concise responses to enquiries.
• Response to emails or letters within seven business days.
• Keeping customers informed of the progress of their enquiries.
• Ensuring up-to-date information on the Shire website.
• Ensuring accessibility and inclusivity of information, resources, and services.
• Transparent communication of processes and responses with customers, keeping them informed every step of the way.
