Tom Price Storm Update – Thursday, 21 November 2024
The Shire of Ashburton advises Tom Price residents of the following measures in place to ensure community safety:
  • Green Waste Disposal: Residents are encouraged to dispose of green waste at the Waste Facility. If this is not possible, please use the designated bins around town. Please only remove debris if it is safe to do so and ensure green and non-green waste are separated ahead of disposal tomorrow.
  • Waste Facility Operations: The Waste Facility is open and will remain operational until 6:00 PM. Please adhere to staff directions and follow all signage and protocols.
  • Park Closures: Doug Talbot Park, Lions Park, Soft Ball and Softball playground, Adventure Playground.
  • Tom Price Pool: The Tom Price Pool is currently closed.

The Shire extends its heartfelt thanks to the SES, DFES, Shire crews, volunteers and community members who are working tirelessly to assist in storm recovery efforts.
We ask for your patience as our Town Maintenance Officers prioritise urgent requests and continue to address storm-related impacts.
